Christmas Gift Guide – Under $25

Today I’m sharing my gift guide for 2016 – and as a nice bonus for those of us on a budget, all the gifts I’m suggesting today are $25 or under! Because I take gifting VERY SERIOUSLY, I like to purchase all my gifts at least a month ahead of time. (I’ve been stockpiling gifts in my closet for months now! Also, all my presents are already wrapped and under the tree.) Here are a few suggestions to help you shop for everyone on your list – I have a guide for the beauty lover, the homebody, the hostess, and for him!

Cozy Christmas Gift Guide for the Homebody

Cozy socks are my favorite thing ever. These ones are super soft, wash well, and come in a ton of cute Christmas-inspired patterns.

Cute pajamas are always a nice gift. I love this sleep shirt and these super cozy plaid flannel pants.

A good, soft, cozy sweater makes a perfect gift for those of us who value comfort above all. I love this one and this one, both from H&M.

I have this flannel in 2 colors, and it’s such a good one! The relaxed fit is flattering and the fabric is super soft, but thick.

Scott and I bought this board game last Christmas as a gift to ourselves, and we LOVE it. It’s cooperative (you compete against the game) and intense.

I love blankets (especially cozy and/or festive ones), and I don’t think you can ever have too many! This pom-pom one and this Sherpa one (on sale for under $25!) are both excellent choices.

Slippers. Enough said. I have a pair of moccasin ones like these from Old Navy, and I wear them in public probably more than is acceptable.

Gourmet coffee or tea is always a nice idea for the caffeine lover in your life. If you’re in the Pittsburgh area, Prestogeorge is one of my family’s favorites – they have a huge selection. (If you aren’t from Pittsburgh, they ship!)

A nice mug always makes a sweet gift (pair it with some coffee/tea/hot chocolate/candy to make it sweeter). I love this one from Target, and this one from Anthropologie that everyone has and loves.

Christmas Gift Guide Hostess

A spoon rest is something you never think that you need but you do. This copper one is gorgeous!

I’m dying over this marble and copper tray – what a beauty! If you’re looking for something slightly different, Homegoods has a TON of beautiful trays and cutting boards that are super affordable.

A bouquet of flowers always makes a nice gift for a hostess. Trader Joe’s always has an amazing selection!

This white serving bowl is pretty, but versatile enough that it should go with anyone’s decor.

These marble coasters are sophisticated and would make a great gift!

If you’re lucky enough to live close to a Wegman’s, do yourself a favor and buy a cannister of their Hot Chocolate (the Rich Chocolate flavor). If you’re unlucky like me, Homegoods has a good selection of gourmet hot chocolates! (I love the Starbucks hot cocoa mix.)

This cheese knives and cutting board set is perfect for your favorite cheese-lover. (Give with a big wedge of fontinella cheese, my favorite!)

A gift card to Etsy ensures that your loved one can get exactly what they want! Etsy has tons of beautiful prints and homeware items that can fit anyone’s taste!

Christmas Gift Guide Beauty

I’ve heard amazing things about this strobing palette. It’s perfect for anyone who loves a good highlight!

This scrub from Young Living is amazing and it lasts forever. I just finished my tube after using it for over a year!

I got the trial size of this mask a few weeks ago, and I’m totally obsessed with it. It feels great and really delivers! (Root is my favorite natural makeup company; read more about them here!)

This matte lip set would make a great stocking stuffer!

A really nice dry shampoo is something that I wouldn’t splurge on myself, but that I’d love to receive as a gift. This one from Living Proof has amazing reviews!

Bath salts make a lovely gift. You can buy ones (like these), or you can make them with Epsom salt and essential oils! (I have a recipe for homemade bath bombs that would also make a great gift!)

Spin Pins are the perfect thing for someone who loves a good bun. You only need 2 pins (and no hair tie) to secure a bun to your head and keep it in place all day!

Christmas Gift Guide for Him

A nice tie makes a good gift. We love The Tie Bar around here for their huge selection and affordability! Here’s a really versatile one (some are sold at Nordstrom; but be sure to visit their website for the full selection).

On a related note, a tie bar like this one  or this one (pictured) would make an excellent gift as well. The Tie Bar is also a great place to buy these!

A flannel (like this one) or a nice button down shirt (Scott likes this one), depending on your guy’s style, is another good gift.

If your guy listens to music, a gift card for Spotify Premium would be perfect. Spotify Premium not only removes ads, but also allows you to use your phone to stream music or listen offline!

A pair of slippers seems like a really classic gift to me. These ones and these ones are both nice!

Scott got this ultra-thin wallet last year and loves it. It’s super compact but has space for everything you need.

I think a massage ball set like this one would get a ton of use!

For the outdoorsman (or the athlete), a Nalgene water bottle would make a great gift. They’re (almost) indestructible, hold a lot of water, and are really affordable.

Hope these gift guides provided some inspiration for you! I also have a post coming up about all my best tips to find that PERFECT gift for someone, so stay tuned!
