Current Obsessions – Vol. 1
Root
Root is a natural beauty company that makes makeup, skincare, and haircare. I’ve loved pretty much everything I’ve tried from them, and I LOVE that they offer sample sizes of almost every product they make. As someone with very sensitive skin, I appreciate being able to try products out before I commit to them. The sample sizes are very generous – enough for multiple uses. Root’s customer service is also fantastic; they’re quick to respond and really easy to work with! My favorite products (so far) are the Peppermint Mud Mask, Pearl Powder Foundation, and Fresh Lavender Toner. Harvest Snaps
I received a small pack of Harvest Snaps from Influenster to try out, and I got hooked immediately. I think they make a perfect addition to a work lunch, and I love that they offer tons of different flavors. I’ve tried the Black Pepper and Lightly Salted Snapea Crisps, as well as the Habanero Black Bean Crisps, and they’re all tasty! One serving of Harvest Snaps typically includes 3-4 grams of protein and 3-4 grams of fiber, so they’re fairly filling for a snack. Jessica Jones
I’ll admit; I was a little bit late to the game for this one. I just started (and finished) watching Jessica Jones on Netflix, and I’ve really enjoyed it! Daredevil wasn’t my favorite, so I was hesitant to try this show, but I’m really glad I did. The character development, plot, atmosphere, and pace of the show appeal to me and make the show really entertaining to watch! David Tennant plays a fantastic villain, and Kristen Ritter totally kills it in her role. I would highly recommend it!
