It’s hard to believe that this already happened five months ago. Time has gone so much more quickly this second time around! My labor with Clara was SO different than with Jamie (read his birth story here!), and I love having a record of the whole experience. I used mainly hypnobirthing techniques and put in a lot of work beforehand, and I really believe that it allowed me to have a smooth and peaceful delivery.

3-6 Month Must-Haves
After writing about my newborn must-haves a few months back, I’ve been keeping a list of 3-6 month and 6-12 month must-haves to share. I have found there’s a bit of research involved in choosing baby items (because there are for some reason 1000 different types of pumping bras and at least that many stroller options). I always have found posts like this really helpful because they provide a personal recommendation from someone who has used and loved the products. Today, I’m sharing my favorite items for the 3-6 month age range!

While newborns don’t require a lot of baby gear or toys, they are still a LOT of work! I really tried to research products ahead of time to determine what things I would need, but it’s impossible to prepare for everything ahead of time! (E.g., I did not expect to have a baby who spits up like it’s his job. We were not prepared for the amount of spit up our newborn would produce.) Today, I’m sharing some of my tried and true newborn must-haves to make those long days (and nights!) a little bit easier.
